Post driveshaft

Occasionally when I bring my 98 150 to a stop I feel a rubbing klunking sound that seems to be coming from my driveshft. At first I thought it was my rear brakes, but when I checked it the brakes wereOK.

Thanks for your help. You wouldn't think you would have to check for this type of problem when the vehicle is still new.

I have a 98 f150 SC 2wd and I've had that problem too. Ford tech told me the slip yoke didn't have enough lube from the factory and they replaced it with the drive shaft. Seemed to solve the problem, but now I get a vibration at exactly 60mph and the new tires didn't correct that. Don't know what to do now it out of warranty.
