Any new 9.75" Powertrax news?
Just wondering if anyone has heard any new news on the powertrax lockers for the 9.75" rear ends, other than the usual "later this year" reply.

Unfortunately the competition is giving Auburn the monopoly.
700,000 trucks a year for the past 6 years. If you figure 1/3 as 5.4L that's a lot of trucks with 9.75" rears. You would think these gear companies would be jumping at the opportunity.

Here is the response I got directly from Powertrax (now bought out by Richmond Gear) when I e-mailed them and asked if they would EVER engineer and manufacture a LockRight for our 9.75.
James:
Thanks for your input and interest in Richmond Gear and Lock-Right full lockers.
We have a project in our 2005 engineering programs to consider a locker for the Ford 9.75. Our production is dependent on the number of vehicles in the market place and the potential sales projections.
Thanks,

Well.... I do believe that enough have sold to warrant making a LockRight for this rear end! I guess they aren't going to make one... (Sigh)

I would be very interested in a selectable locker for my 03 F-150 4x4 with
the 9.75 rear end, do you have any plans for the production of one in the
future, and if so when?
