Has anyone ran a mini spool in the 8.8
Auburn Gear in mind or any locked rear end
If you have real knowledge on locked rear ends pos. or neg. opinions are wanted. Or if you have no clue then your opinion is still worth my time to read it. Thanks.

Have lots of experience running mini spools on dirt track open wheel modified and limited late model race cars, 9" ford differentials.

I would never run a mini-spool in anything that is street driven. If you did, exact tire size and tire presure would have to be maintained (otherwise, vehicle would have a tendancy to pull to the side that had the the least tire circumferance).

Also, with a solid spool you would get severe wheel hop on tight turns. Solid spools are great for off road use.

I have built many 9" ford diff's that had 550 to 600 h/p engines using a mini spool (dirt track, oval racing). I have never had a failure at the mini spool.
