This message is for Rochester, NY F150 owners and/or technicians. I want to swap out my 3.55 open rear end and put in a limited slip. Is there a reputable shop in Rochester, NY that will do this and how much?

I've priced out a PowerTrax no-slip differential and it's a little over $400. They say you can install it yourself, but I'm not sure I can. Thanks for any help.

If you want to drive about 45 minutes there are some good shops here in Lockport. I would recommend Farley's repair in Wrights Corners (rt 104 just outside of Lkpt)he does them all the time on classic cars and charges pretty decent rates.
