Finally had my pitman arm changed on my 97 F150 and it is now nice and quiet when turning!!

I also had a Check Engine Light and they scanned it and got 5 codes!!! The guy that rebuilt my motor forgot to plug in the O2 sensors and one got burned from the exhaust! But, they all still work and the codes were cleared. The truck drives smoother now and maybe I'll get better mpg??

Anyways, should I unplug the battery to reset the computer or does the ford scan tools take care of this??

 

scan tool should have cleared, if in doubt take it back and ask,if they look stupid at the question tell them you just want to be sure and do it again
