Anyone do their gears themselves?

Has anyone done their gears by themselves? I found a set of 4.10 gears for front & rear plus the install kit for $699. Is it pretty easy, or am I getting in over my head? I'm by no means an idiot when it comes to turning a wrench, but I don't want to do something that I won't be able to finish.

You can do gears yourself if you learn how to do it before you start. Gears are not forgiving and an error will result in premature gear wear and/or complete failure. Review corral.net gear installation information. If you understand what they are doing then you might consider doing it yourself, if you are not already scared off. If in doubt at all, have someone else do it. If you have done your homework (including searching this forum) and have more questions, post again. Good luck, GlennMc.
