Can anybody give me any advice on this??????

I have a 2000 F150 Supercab Flareside 4x4 Off Road with 17inch wheels 265/70/17 tires. (big balloons). I have the 9.75inch rear, and the 8.8 in the front. (both with locking diffs). According to the tags on them, both are stuffed with 3.55 gears. With such tall tires, the effective gear ratio is probably around a 2.73, which with well over 5000lbs to get moving is horrible.

My question is can I install a set of 4.10's in the rear without changing the front???? I have done many gear swaps myself on the 8.8(I am a previous mustang owner, 6 of them to be exact), and have all the tools necessary for the job. Is the 9.75 rear set up the same way as the 8.8??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
