Dude thats awesome,
BB power on some 5tons is gonna be sick! (stupid heavy) but gonna be sweet.

So are those 18.4x26(57")??? I'll be running either those or some 23.1x26(65")
Just depends on what I find a good deal on

What rod ends will you be going with? I'm going with some 1.25"x1" Not sure of the brand probably some Midwest control products.
You can get some tractor supply rod ends, they just get sloppy quick.

Did you not want a tubing bender?

Are you gonna get a locker or weld the rear?

Heavy is right, but its not a big deal to me. Its not going to be a race truck so Ill be alright.
Yes. 18.426 r2s.
Your 2.5s are going to be crying with these tires, I def. wouldnt recomend going any bigger.
Ive got a set of 1.25x1" heims. Your right about those tractor joints, plus Ive seen them break before, so I dont want to risk it. Especially with the weight I'm going to be.
Rear is already welded... open front for now.

I dont have a tube bender, nor do I have the extra cash to buy one. Not to say I wouldnt like to.

Your right at my planned power level I'm gonna be snapping shafts with the 18.4x26 r2's so the 23.1x26 r2's are a no question...

Some Overson 47 spline shafts are in store shortly after I have it together, tunned, and the bugs worked out of it.

My 3rd's will be the weak link, but at the time I change shafts I may go with a different gear ratio than stock 6.72...

None the less I love your truck it's

What size dom?

Stock motor? demon carb, and headers 400hp???

Oversons will work but they are pricey. That why I went strait to 5 tons. Dont want to worry about breaking shafts.

Its a stock block, D3VE heads, with a medium cam, edelbrok performer intake, 750 Demon, and LandL over frame headers.

I used 2" .188 wall for the frame and Scd. 80 2" for the link bars.
