I am referring to those orange lights/covers at the outer edge of each headlight. I couldve sworn mine had those. Maybe I'm wrong though. I am just going off of memory right now. My truck is 33 floors below me at the moment. :-)
I will check it later and report back.

Ahhh i gotcha now. The orange piece is just a reflector with a tiny side marker bulb behind it... The turn signal itself is the bulb closest to the grill on the hood.

They make chrome paint but its not really good. The orange reflector could be painted any color you want though... Most people choose to tint it darker so it still gets a little light coming through it from that bulb and will still reflect a bit.

Ok... question; this is a long *** thread; great money generating idea. (I'll assume it's a pain in the *** to get these opened up otherwise someone would have posted how to do it right)

Anyway so if I was looking to get both Headlights/fogs and tail and third light tinted dark how much would the final cost be. I have another car so can remove and send them all to you. Also; how long does it take and how powerfull of lights (bulbs) will I need in order to be able to see at night? I have really tinted windows and can hardly see ****.. but it looks good :-)

thanks in advance.

Hey bud 125 to me and you pay shipping both ways.

Sometimes it can be a pita to open the lights and people are leery about putting their lights into an oven and ruining them on accident. I quickly decided the oven was not the way I wanted to do things and now use a heatgun. It takes longer but I feel its a safer process.

Shipping for a set of headlights seems to run about 25-30 bucks from california to the east coast. Tails can be done for under 20 and fogs I would assume roughly the same.... If you can get them all into the same box then that would be better.

When you are ready to do this just pm me and we can try to work out the plan. If we can arrange arrival time with my days off I can usually turn the entire set around in that time period.

Unfortunately I have not done any lights in white. Though I do think it would look pretty good.

Don't mean to sorta hijack the thread. But I guess my ?? Might help some else and still pertains to this topic.
For those that have sent in 05 type square fogs. Do you guys remove the bracket attached to the lights or do you send them assembled.
If so. It seems the screws holding them are also serve as alignment screws. ???
TIA
