headlights

So I just got my headlights back today from lord_feyr and they turned out really nice. Mine have no kind of rattle in them at all. There was plenty of silicone around the edges so hopefully they wont leak like the aftermarket ones I had bought. The only problem that I have with mine is the lenses and thats no fault of lord_feyr. This is my daily driver and there are small little cracks and marks on the outside being they are original and over 6 years old. I took some pics with my phone so they are not that good but will try to post. Thanks again lord_feyr excellent work

headlights

sorry pics from camera phone...also you will notice what I was talking about with my lenses...you can see all the imperfections from bugs and little rock chips these are all on the outside...lord_feyr did a great job of cleaning up the dust and everything on the inside. Just a heads up, if you click on the link below you will also see the cheap aftermarket ebay lights that I had purchased. As soon as I put them in I washed the truck and I could see water sitting in the bottom. I just removed them today when lord_feyr lights arrived and they are still fogged now after 3 weeks. I would def recomend sending originals to be painted versus buying cheap aftermarkets.

also forgot to mention that these were done in the satin finish with dark smoke reflectors

next I will need to send him my round fogs to paint

I painted my own.. but I am putting up pics of how I did the "bulb caps" in case anyone wants theirs done this way.

I painted the caps and left the "sticks" that attach them chrome. I think it looks better than the whole thing being painted.

This was before I cleaned and sealed them

My next project is restoring the lenses... :o
