WTT center jump seat for center shift console

I know most ppl usually do the center shift swap (like I want to do) but is there anyone that would want to do a jump seat swap? I WTT your center shift console for my center jump seat.

Just want to see if anyone would be interested...Im not expecting much but thought I would try. Each of us would pay our own shipping if neccessary. Thanks

What color is your interior? Would you be up to just selling your center seat?

Ride, you do relaize that the center shift console requires the FULL front dash shell as well as the center (radio ac and cupholder) panel just to fit right?

If you get just the console in a swap for your middle seat your newly acquired console will have a significant gap up front as well as the guy that gets your seat will have an ugly unfinished lower front middle dashboard area.

thats true

i just imagine someone ripping their truck apart, shipping half their interior, getting lost in a UPS warehouse for a couple of weeks, then the recipient has to swap everything, then return shipment, etc

Im aware of the process of the swap. And a few have done the swap without doing the dash swap. Some panels can be made also to fill the gap. And I am throwing something out, someone nearby might be interested...if you read what I said that "I wasnt expecting much but thought I would try."

And I must have missed where my truck would not run with no center seat, must be some new thing. And please dont clutter my thread if you have nothing regarding the item at hand.

Oh and look...I have someone that may just buy it from me and I can take that money and buy a center console with shifter...so obviously it wasnt a long shot.

WOW sorry for "cluttering" your thread with useful info on a particular console swap...

And just the person sending you the center shift console WILL experience downtime and the truck will run just fine, it just wont drive anywhere due to NOT HAVING A SHIFTER.

Its a public forum, last i checked, and perhaps someone was willing to trade thinking they could just bolt the center seat in and be done which is untrue.
Good luck with your project

I know that the truck with the center shift would have downtime, but mine would not. And someone that even wants to consider swapping should in fact do some research. Its not my fault if someone is stupid enough to jump into something without doing an ounce of research.

And yes you are correct it is a public forum, but this isnt the "hmmm need info on center console swap" section its the FOR SALE/TRADE section and i am not asking for info now am I.

Your truck will have down time to disassemble the column and remove your factory shift linkage and wait for the donor..... Nice try tho

And Fabian, dare I say you are wrong too? The truck wont run if it can't start since the Park Neutral switch would be unplugged

Yes i will have downtime when I "actually" go to do the swap, but not weeks like mentioned earlier if there is a mix-up in shipping...correct? I can drive around forever with no middle seat and not worry about anything, tho it will look like crap. What I was saying is I wont have downtime during the shipping process or even after until I go about tearing it down. I guess I should have clarified.
