dana 44 with 39.5 tires...thats a timebomb in the works man. think about all that tire hangin off the puny ball joints, the wheel bearings taking all that loading and universals/axles taking all that abuse...a dana 44 wasnt made for anything bigger than 35"s maybe 37s if ur easy on the stupid but its just not strong enough to handle the wear and tear.

oo that i thought you seen something else on the truck ... ive been saving and research to upgrade both axles in the spring deff ford 9" in the rear ... it actually does have all new u-joints, tie-rod ends, and ball joints in the front .. i know there puny but they are temporary ... its mostly just back and forth to work for now then spring is the BIG change to get ready for the 2010 Bloomsburg 4x4 Jamboree

This is my husband's newly re-done '79 F150 Although, the front parking lights are now clear instead of orange...looks much better now.

Go to the forum Questions About the Site. There is a sticky thread at the top.

You already have an album. A pic has to come from your album or a hosted site such as Photobucket. Go to a pic in your album, click on it to enlarge it and there will be two urls underneath the pic. Copy the bottom url and paste in in a post box. That is it.

Wow! That truck is amazing. I love that body style and exact year.

That has my vote for TOTM if it were to get nominated.
