website clock
Looks like the website clock has gained a couple minutes in the last few days. It's just beginning to be off enough to be mildly distracting. I'm mentioning it now because otherwise nobody will say anything and it will just continue to get worse. One site I used to frequent had the clock gaining time for over a year. By the time the webmaster fixed it, it was over an hour fast. In 18 months not a single person mentioned it. Why have a clock if it's wrong? There are plenty of programs/ services to automatically keep the clock set. Windows automatically updates mine with time.nist.gov once a week.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Your comment made me double check and you are correct. My computer lost a couple minutes since the last time it updated 5-6 days ago. I manually updated my clock and now it's correct and all is well.

WMR - computers make excellent clocks. Cheap computers with crappy motherboard & old software make crappy clocks.
If your using XP, MS was kind enough to build in NTP (Network Time Protocol) to ensure your PC's time is always synced with an Internet NTP server & dead-nuts on with the atomic clock. I'll trust my PC before any other clock...
