Turn signal led lamp in side mirrors - not working

G'day guys.

I have a 2005 F150 FX4 Roush Supercharged.

The truck was imported to Australia from the U.S.A. and converted to RH drive.

The side mirrors have the LED turn signal lamps mounted at the base of the mirrors facing rearward, which do not function.

I have disassembled the RH mirror and confirmed the wiring to the LED lamp is connected.

I have checked the fuses and the LED bulb - all are o.k..

I have scoured various forums and had an Auto-Electrician check out the problem.

Auto-Electrician confirmed connection etc. was all o.k., his guess was that the BCM had to have a setting turned on to enable the turn signal function.

My guess is the option would had to have been Factory enabled, so why would the LED lamps be installed and wired if not BCM enabled?

Forscan does not have the ability to do this.

Aside from some kind of work-around wiring to the body and headlight turn signal wiring, HOW do I enable the LED turn signal lamps to function?
