How to pry off ABS wire clip on top of front shock
I want to change out my front shocks, but there's a plastic clip stuck on top of the front shock's mounting bolt. Looks like it's a cable retention clip - for the front ABS sensor's wire?
How the #$%*@ do you remove this clip without ruining it for re-use? None of the manuals even mentions that this should even be there. Neither is it mentioned any place I've found on the forum.

I figured it out after some cussing.
The wire-side of the clip has a swing-out clamp which pivots at the top. Using a screwdriver, pry this clamp loose at the bottom - it clamps via two arms on the inboard side and one arm on the outboard side which fits between those two. You need to separate the two arms on the inboard side to release the arm on the outboard side.
Once the bottom of the clamp is released, you can swing it open and free the ABS sensor cable. Once this is done, the entire plastic clip may be removed from the shock absorber bolt by simply unscrewing it.
