what's the best way to go about replacing my battery cables? I can clearly tell the oem clamps were cut off a long time ago in favor of some marine style clamps. I can see that the wire is actually green and corroded into the wire itself. I could cut it off and just place a little more into the clamp but would just really like to replace it all the right way.

 

Rock Auto has replacement cables. OEM Motorcraft is very expensive. They have DEKA cables, by type, color length, and gauge. They have both post terminal cables and switch to starter cables. They also have Standard post terminal cables for a lot less than Motorcraft.
