in your sig. it says 230Hp, where did you get that figure from? Im not sure but if the only performance mod you have is exhaust i dont think you will come close to 230Hp. stock Hp is like 205 and exhaust only adds little in the way of Hp.
Just wondering

Could you do us a favor and release the Caps Lock?
I could care less how much hp you say you have, but I will tell you that Thunderforms are good for loud bass. "Tight" bass is easy to get from tens (which the Thunderform uses) if you amplify them corrrectly.

HAHAHAHA...a little something you do on the side huh? Sorry, that's just too phunny. Not that I like to argue about stupid *****, just get a real job, and stop trying to act like something you not, and if you are a pimp, could you tell me why your proud of this? HAHAHA...

Anyway, those Thunderforms look like they don't have very much cone surface, which wouldn't make them very good for rap or SPL I wouldn't think. Then again, I'm a "JL phreak." Kicker's are AWESOME for loud bass, and JL's are good for deep bass. Image Dynamics makes a hell of a sealed enclosure sub. Even better than JL, but more expensive for the ID series.

Hey PIMPNXLT:
Biggest advantage of thunderforms: bolt in without much hassle and look factory. Can be bought at any decent audio store that carries automotive stuff. Can be bought "loaded" with subs, or unloaded, empty. Will take 10" subs, have .6 cu.ft. volume per sub so most decent subs will work. Biggest disadvantage is cost, $229 unloaded, $349 with subs, but if you aren't able to build your own, you'll wind up spending close to that buying someone elses boxes and subs, without the clean look, possible interfenence with arm rest and seat travel, etc... You'll still need an amp and some device to split the signal to the subs (crossover or amp with built in cross over). Lots of different ways to do it. Remember, you get what you pay for! My .02!

Pimpnxlt:
Depends on what you want to spend and what you're trying to achieve in terms of sound. Hard to just single out an amp without knowing what subs you'll be using. What about other variables: any other changes to the stock system, quality of sound vs. volume, total budget, etc... My .02: better to figure out your budget first, then look for balanced components that will work together. You wouldn't appreciate the sound quality of a high end amp and killer subs if you use a speaker (line level) input. A less powerful amp that has its own internal crossover for sub output and line level inputs that is matched to a some medium efficiency 10'' subs might give you better overall sound. If you want big bass you'll need to spend up front. My experience is that short cuts wind up wasting your time and money. Try going to some high end shops or some stereo competition events and listen to whats out there. Another good source of info is www.mobileaudio.com
Good Luck!
