I couldn't fit the 6.5 comps without hacking away at the sheetmetal. I know you can buy an adaptor for the 5.25 comps though.

There's not much you can do without hacking away. This is another reason why I advise people to buy 6X8 component speakers. The 6X8's tend to be designed to fit in Fords.

Since I already have the 6.5's I guess I'll just hack away. Thanks

Untrue

You can buy an adapeter for 6 1/2'' and sand it down a little and they will fit snug be work perfect.

I have Kappa Perfect 6.1 Components in my '04 screw

You are going to need an amp though.

An adapter would be perfect, were can I get this?

I already have an amp. The thing is I had a civic and all my system was in there.

I have a Phoenix gold amp 4 channel and one mono(didn't use)
Punch 4 channel which I use as a two channel for my subs
2 12w3v2 JL Audio subs
2 Pionner 6.5 component speakers
2 Polk 6.5 speakers

As you can see almost all my system goes to hell if i dont use those 6.5's. The subs I know I wont be able to use, and maybee I;ll stay only with the phoenix gold amp.

I just both this system back in January so you see why I don't just sell it and get a new one.

adapter

I believe it is like mjmautoinnovations.com

do a google search for 5x7 speaker adapter and you will find it.

Like I said you will have to sand it down (i used a dremmel) but works awesome.
