You guys can make Double DINs fit in your dash with just a little cutting on the inside of the dash, and maybe by shaving a little off that bar that runs horozontal and separates the radio and HVAC controls....

Heck, there are even kits out there to make a DD unit fit.

Just dont like the look of a flip out screen or what??

Its really easy to make a DD fit in a Heritage Body F150. I had a W200, and a Z2 in mine. The D3 I put in for a customer.

How is CC treating ya Mr. Squirrel? I recognized the discounts. You also can get Eclipse CHEAP!!!

I would pick up a set of Polk MOMO's 6.5 components and MOMO 6.5 coax or hell do like me and get the SR's... I would grab 2 Polk MOMO 10's (2 DVC's) or 1 Polk Sr (SVC) 10' w/ a Polk Carbon 300.2 and an Eclipse XA4000. All of that will prolly run you close to 1000. That would be a HELLA mix of the accomodations and sound really good.
If you really wanted to get ballsy the Eclipse Accomodation grab the AVN-5945.

your good....LOL

actually funny you asked, i just quit, yesterday was my last day.....could not take the managment and the fact that they forced me into a department i did not want and they would not pay me up to the starting wage for that department....so i quit....but i made some really good friends that work their and i am still going to get it through them....as soon as the store director comes back....how is your relationship with the CITY....lol

well i guess i could settle with a flip up but i would prefer a non flip

i just looks more clean without the flip

Gotta love the friends... I have it the same way w/ BBY. Thats how I got my 3Sixty.2. RF Accomodation and all for 100.

But ya we can get Eclipse HU through CC accomodation.

DUDE, you can do a Double Din. It takes 15 min w/ a Dremel. And its a SWEET mod.

CC sucks, our Roadshop is taking a hit, I have NO hours. I got 13 this week and was dropped from FT... And it really sucks that they dont recognize MECP or my job would be secure... I figure ill keep the job for the accomodations and find another one. Sorry bout the rant.

If your not there save the Kicker for ya boys. B/c you can only order once from it.

well actually there was a managment change that happened over night and the sales manager is now the store director....so i am still employed and will be doing dvd pull backs for a week and will probably transfer to warehouse because IMO it is more laid back than meeting a sales quota....so i will use my own name to get a system since now we have an official director

your going to have to enlighten me about the double din or i can ask my installers

P.S. i started in merch where i did not have a sales quota...then they forced me into HE because of the ICSE if you guys know what that is, and i was not gettin paid what HE started at....by the way over here they merged roadshop in with tech and merch in with HE...in my opinion it is to put less people on the floor which results in angry customers

sorry about the rant....but i guess people should know that CC is drowning

so what about polk...i hear they are more clear with the subs

Mr. Squirrel - I will help you out with the DDin Install. And the good thing is I dont charge for advice and how to's. You just missed me I was near Orlando. I would of definately worked with you to install that.
The Polks will be so much better for SQ than the Kickers. The Kicker is more your "Ghetto Stoplight Sound"

DRJ - Keepin tabs on me now? As soon as i sell my XR's and 10W6, the SR's will be on order. Ill have to listen to the stocks in between though... The Polks will sound ungodly in comparison... But then again CA&E rated the 6.5 the best speakers they have ever heard. And stated that these would be their new reference system. Then the 10" was so loud and clear that the tester thought someone kicked the back of his seat. And had the depth/warmth of a 15" but the quickness of a 8". Again one of the best speakers he has heard. So I cant wait. Ill prolly buy another 4 ch (Eclipse XA4000). So I can bi-amp everything.

We shall see what happens...
