Rockford amp install kit. 50.00
Total $455.00

It should sound pretty good i can't wait untill it all gets here.

the guy told me i could just modify the 6x8 to 5.25" adapter to make the alpine's fit in the door.

Thanks for all of your help

Congrats bro The only thing I would of done differently is a larger amp. Those R's are POWER HUNGRY!!! But let us know how things work out.

i hope to get it installed this weekend i will let you know how it sounds.
the main reasons i got that amp are the speaker level inputs, and DIRECT AUX INPUT Its the only amp i could find that i could hook my ipod up directly to without having to worry about all the other ipod adapters and more money.

I hope the type r's have good bass with 65 watts pushing them.

Sorry to threadjack here, but what kind of speakers for front and rear doors would be good for mids/highs? I already got all the bass I want. And what size are the speakers in the doors? (probably gonna get bashed for that question but oh well)

nah man, i'm pretty green in the car audio department too. I've started piecing my system together this month with a lot of help from these guys here.

right now i've got polk db5251 components for the front and polk db571 coax for the rear with an alpine mrp-f450 amp on the way.

just keep asking, make some threads (and if they give you a hard time make more ) and these guys will set you up right.
