Sweet! Focal's are VERY hard to beat... Like I said, take a good hard look at those Cadence amps, ask around, go to different forum boards etc. Those things are SUPER SOLID and will run anything you decide to install. Plus a 5 yr warranty is almost unheard of...

I have read some on the Cadence amps and I havent seen anyone not like them. So I think I will pull the trigger on these two. I only hope this system sounds a little better than my stock audiophile system....

I love how this snowballed. About 2 weeks ago I wanted to order a TomTom for my car and figured if I was going to spend 200 on that I mine as well spend an extra 200 and get a headunit with nav to avoid clutter. Then ironicly my rear speakers started to go out, and here we are now $2,300 later

Amp for Focal fronts ran @ 4 ohms

Amp for 2 10 IDQ V3 ran @ 2 ohms.

Woofersetc is NOT an authorized Cadence dealer so you get their 1yr in house warranty. While I have bought from Woofersetc, I'd still go with those iA's from powermax, you get a full 5 yr waranty. You tube search an ia7, I think there's still a link from a guy named Jason Paul that works for Cadence. He's bench testing an ia7 and it's screamin' out like 1200wRMS @ 1ohm and not even flinching! You can get those amps where you'd like, but I'd go with powermax, and for $570 shipped, you be hard pressed to find a better deal

With 2 ID IDQ 10's at 2 ohms dont you think the IA9 would be more suited power wise and effecincy?

Yes, the ia9 is a beast and is more suited to running a those subs at a 2ohm load. From a flexability perspective, I'd run dual 4ohm subs so you can run them at 4ohms or 1ohm... I currently am running dual 2ohm subs and wish I had gone with dual 4's

So its Final the amps will be the iA9 & iA2.

I get the 4 ohm so I can run it on 1 ohm but with these subs the iA9 will already pushing them pass the subs rated 500 rms at 2ohms so its a mute point to run 2000 @ 1ohm no?

Its fine, just be easy on the gain. You want your amplifier to drive the speaker with ease, you will get better sound and a longer life out of your amplifier. Especially at a low 1 ohm resistance.

But at 1 ohm, the iA7 will be fine with those subwoofers too if you want to save a few bucks. Plus the iA7 has a smaller footprint, should be easier to fit on the back wall of the truck.
