Wiring DVC subs
Series adds, parallel divides...rule of thumb. What this means is if you run dual 4 ohm voice coils in series you now have an 8 ohm woofer. To run in series you will run a jumper wire from one hot to one ground terminal and then the other terminals will go to the amp. If you run a dual 4 ohm woofer in parallel you now have a 2 ohm woofer. To run in parallel you run the hot terminal to the other hot terminal and the ground to the ground and then just run a set of wires to the amp from one set of the terminals. Depending on what ohm load your amp will run best at is how to determain how to wire your subs. Here is where it gets fun...you may need to series the subs and then parallel them together to the amp, if you have a pair. Good luck, and don't worry, a warranty can be your friend!!!! P.S. Qlogic boxes are very good boxes, so don't replace it unless you need to.

This is an extremely helpful link from the fathers of car audio, Rockford Fosgate. It's a wizard so you select the configuration and it shows a picture of how to wire it.
