Pioneer or Polk 6x8's???

I can't find a shop locally that carries Polk speakers so I can't hear for myself, so I thought I would post here. I listened to the Pioneer 3-way speakers and thought they sounded better than the Kenwoods for the same money (at Best Buy). But I keep hearing and reading good things about the Polks...any advice?

Talking POLK

I've had Polk 5x7's in my truck for over a year now and love them. The Pioneer's have a better bass sound IMO, but the Polk's have a lot better mid-range and high's.

I've also had the Polk 5X7's for over a year now and love them. I don't know much about the Pioneer's, though.

I have the Polk Ex368 in my front doors. They are true 6x8 models that completely fill the hole unlike some 5x7 models. They sound great. I have not heard the Pioneers.
