I've seen enough at the track blow due to nitrous. Not something for the average Joe. S/C kits on the other hand are plug and play, and much safer for the average Joe..

Back to the centercaps

If anyones got a great way to remove the centercaps without marring up the rim or cap , I'd love to hear it. Here is a thought. Not saying it would work. Im wondering if I could sneak some strong fishing line behind it, and give it a good tug to get it to release. another thought is masking the rim surface around the cap with electrical tape or something , before trying any type of prying. Problem is I cant find an open gap to insert a prying device. Ive seen some centercaps sold individually , and they are not cheap. Lets brainstorm and figure this out.

No just the whole center cap. It looks rather difficult to remove. I wonder if the HD trucks have a different flat tire tool compared to the other trucks.

Theres got to be a ford tech on this site who could get some info . hey, have you ever seen the special edition Harley centercaps ? I only saw them one time on Ebay, In addition to the shield in the center there was lettering around it that said special edition, and possibly something else . I cant remember. Just a slightly different look.

Go buy an large flathead screwdriver (perferable a cheap one). Get the tip of it real hot then bend it into a "J" shape. I Made one for my factory wheels.
