My New Truck

Hey guys. Haven't seen yall in a while. Some of you might remember my 05 F150 that I had to sell.

Well I finally got a replacement truck yesterday. It's a '99 Lightning that is bone stock, but needs a lot of cosmetic work. The truck runs really well, but it looks like the guy who had it used it on a farm. I'm still in the process of cleaning it up, but wanted to post a couple of quick pictures. I went ahead and did a quick carwash and changed the headlights, and that alone made a world of difference, but I'll try to get better pictures up soon. I'm going to try to learn my way around a buffer.

Anyway here are a couple of quick before and afters of the headlights.

After

Thanks man. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm going to have to find a bed for it first and go from there.

The truck has been hit in the rear, but nothing major. It "folded" the rear fender a little bit, but not too bad. You can kinda see it in these pics.

Plans right now are to get it looking like a real Lightning again. It's pretty rough right now so I'm trying to get it looking good.

Thanks! I've wanted an L for the longest time and have never been able to afford one, but this one I could afford and am comfortable driving every day.

Yeah I was looking at another L that the financing fell through, and then this one fell into place. I was looking for something to pay cash in anyways so I was pretty happy about it.
