Is it to late to jump ship if they send it back and it still isn't in the ball park? I know they do a hell of a job on the porting (or atleast the machine shop they use) but i don't have time to guess and play tag for three months to get this thing right. Hold on let me at least give them the chance to make this one ok. we'll see next week. and wait

Hp and torque both look pretty damn good, especially considering how rich you are.

Congratulations on your dyno!

But, I get the impression from your posts that, the dyno shop, only dynoed the existing tune? They did not dyno AND tune?

Why are you hitting max power and torque around 3200 rpms? Usually a roots hits max around 2200 - 2700. Although, you may find it beneficial to hit max power/torque a little later, I was just curious if that was an effect of the larger diameter tires and 4x4 gearing?

Thanks Iron Horse.... I have been waiting for you to come around, i was getting worried! No the speed shop does not have SCT tuning capabilities, they only dynoed. The operator of the dyno could not look the truck into gear and inorder to keep the truck from down shifting he had to be over 3grand! I wish he would have been able to lock it into third I still have some tricks up my sleeve and some tuning to straighten out because i plan on being in the 400/500 club!!

How is your project coming? do you need those exhaust manifolds?

I was out of commission for a week or so, due to a severe root canal infection. I am sure that you will be in the 500rwtq. club. The parts guy is still in Florida, working. I am just waiting on him. I am still searching for an 03-04 4r70w torque converter as well. It is driving me crazy, having to wait so long!!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently be relocated to Houston and things were crazy for a while. No i haven't got a dyno tune yet. I got intouch with Andre from the HALO club but i don't think he will be able to help me. My only options are to wait until Sal from PSP comes down in the spring or get an Xcalibrator from him and email dyno results and tunes back and forth. I am thinking about the second because she is still running rich but not overly. Performance wise i couldn't ask for more but i know there is more in the tune so i would like to get that wrapped up. The only thing i'm waiting for is the new tires and wheels so i can setup my shift points and speedo all at once. Thanks for asking. For the meanwhile i have bought some billet and painted the interior and other nicknacks.
