Upgrades Continue

As I slowly up grade my 02 screw (4x4, 5.4), I need opinions on what's next. So far, I installed the 40 flowmasters and K&N FIPK. Tires were next on my list, however, after talking with the auto guy, he said that i would have to lift (suspension) my truck at least 3" to install the 33" tires. Suspension lift is about $2500, not including rims and tires! Tires and MT rims would run about $1500. Needless to say quite a big jump to upgrade to bigger tires. Question is: should I go with the MT rims and 31" tires (10" wide) and later lift the truck (for bigger tires and keep the same size rims)? Or should I go engine mods with electric fans ($400) or microchip ($400), or grilles/guards ($500), or headers ($500). I gotta take this slowly with a limited budget, and was looking to spend about $1500 for my next upgrade. What's the bigger bang for both my dollar and improving the efficiency of my truck? I do take my truck off road, but not to extremes. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Z

dude, go w/ a intake and a programmer.
you will need the programmer anyways so your speedo won't be off w/ the bigger tires. you should also consider gears.

good luck

I second the gears recommendation. I think that will give you the most-noticeable increase.

Biggest bang for the buck? Got $1500 to spend? Get a used supercharger kit.
