New dynorun with 3" pulley

I went back to the dyno today for a new tune since installing a 3" pulley, LT headers, efans, and dual exhaust. Well, we hit a wall with the stock injectors. I only got 404 rwhp, which is just about a 40 hp increase, before the A/F started running lean. On the bright side, I picked up another 72 lbs of tq. So, now I'm buying the boost-a-pump and some new injectors. Somebody got a recommendation on the injector size and where to buy?

Here's the numbers:
404/467

Last tune without exhaust, efans and pulley:
365/395

Thanks. I'll pop off an email and hopefully pick his brain.

Not bad, but get those new injectors in and get some more fuel running in there and you'll see some better numbers. Congrats on breaking the 400 RWHP barrier!

As for the addiction, mine started with this truck and I think I need a new fix. I've been eyeballing some mustangs lately.

*edit* I got your e-mail and just replied.

Somebody correct me if this is wrong, but I think it goes like this:

.85/rwhp= hp at flywheel

So, assuming this formula is correct, 476 hp at the motor.

Now, how do you account for drivetrain loss in a 4wd truck? Two motors producing the same hp at the crank will produce different rwhp if one is 4wd. Anybody know how to compensate the formula for 4wd?

Yeah, I'm about done with the truck. I'm going to move on to my mustang next. I'm eyeing a 100hp kit that's only $385. That's what I call bang for the buck! Looking at pushing somewere in the 550-560 rwhp range.

The 15% loss is not comparable to our heavy 4X4's. Just look at the stock numbers, most trucks are registering around 205-210 rwhp and the flywheel is 300? That's a 30% loss, which is probably a better percentage to apply to our rides. I had figured mine at the 99 Deg dyno run I did puts me at 555 horses at the flywheel. With 404RWHP, you should be around 525 horses at the flywheel.

I don't know if the percentage is even accross the board, so the loss might be a little less at higher power. Even if it was a 20% loss on my rig that puts me at 512 at the flywheel which is more than the SRT-10.

When I decide to do my mustang I will buy it slightly used somewhere in Cali or southwest US, and have it shipped to Whipple. I'd like to find one with 5,000-10,000 miles on it and let Whipple do their magic, get me around 15-20 pounds of boost and then I'd fly down and drive it back to Alaska. Those guys did such an amazing job on my truck, and I saw what they are capable of doing with the Mustangs while I was in Fresno. Dustin's 'stang is just insane.
