gto rid of the ford
sorry guys i got rid of the ford. it takes to much money time and effort to make power. i got me a srt 10 i put a roe,sc on it, long tube headers, high flow cats and magna flow cat back,b@m short throw shifter, forged pistons, rods, clutch upgrade, light weight fly wheel, 4:56 gears. what more im pressive a 720 rwhp truck or a ford that can bairly push its own wait after $10,000. sorry i still like fords but the power out put for the money just is not good. my truck will beat a zo6 i have proven it 6 times this week, my ford could not even beat a dam acura rsx.

Great... I'm a Dodge guy, ex Ford owner, But allow me to point out a few things. The Ford 5.4 is not built for high end Horse power, but for low to mid range torque and your verry silly to compare a 5.4 to a viper engine.
Even the Ford guys are going to admit thiers no why a stock 5.4 3v can come close to a stock SRT 10.
Thiers no why your going to beat zo6 corvette's and the acura rsx has a higher h/p to whiegt than a F-150 and the SRT 10 is not built for day to day truck stuff.
I only envy your pocket book, not your ride.

Ford has taken a gaint leep backwards with the 5.4 3v, I agree thier and I have ranted enough on Ford of late, What kills any ultra high performance h/p with the 5.4 is the automatic, but this helps the truck tow better, so they say.
The viper engine is a animal, no aurgument thier, Ford has nothing current to match it, my 5.7 hemi 6 sp is as strong as the v/10 6sp from Ford, but I;m not a truck racer, I need the torque for hauling towing.
Perhaps Ford is putting thier performnace asperations into the new 6.4 power stroke and has lost interest in playing in the high performnace 1/2 ton market

Even as a Ford fan I like the SRT-10 quite a bit. I was a Dodge fan before I was a Ford Fan and really like the styling of that truck. Lets face it you can always spend less and do the same. A lightning will not turn heads like the SRT-10. Part of this is status and the man has the money so lets stop busting his *****

Like said if I took what you spent and put it into my L you'd cry as I passed you, while looking better too.. haha
You can't compare a stock F150 to a SRT. If you are talking $ to $ factor in the cost of the truck!
The 5.4 is a great motor and the 3V has plenty of potential. The problem is the new truck's weight. And even still The 5.4 has potential that you just haven't seen yet.
Blah, blah, blah. Watch out for the L's!
