Diablo Predator Procharger Tune Problems

I have had some serious problems with my diablo predator hand held tuner that came from procharger. Has anyone else had problems with the procharger tune from predator. The code is P2106 which is a throttle accuation code. This sends the truck in to reduce engine power mode or limp mode. Also, when driven modestly it shifts in to overdrive at like 28 to 30 mph, which is like 600 rpm. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a better tune for our trucks out there? Please help this is driving me crazy...

It's a tune problem... Take it to a good custom tuner!

a guy in town is having the same issues (on a 2006 5.4) when he put it on the dyno @ the tuners he maxed out his MAF before he got it tuned so he is getting a MAFia extender and is gonna try again next week to get it tuned properly.

get a bigger maf or the extender before you take it to the dyno tuners

Nothing wrong with the diablo pred. It just needed a good custom tune.

SCT will do the same if it's not tuned right.

Ya, nobody around here knows what is goin on with it, I put it back to stock and it actually runs So after a few mile of driving I put the procharger tune back on and WOT..... no problems??? The last time I loaded it on it took about 150 mile before it started to thow that code (P2106) soooo it might show up again soon but hopefully not. Anyone that knows what this might be please help me out even if someone could tell me of a good tuner in the houston area. Thanx

Hey 05Hulk how do you like your procharger besided the problem with the tunes? How hard was the install?

Does anyone know if i can use my edge tuner with a procharger instead of the included diablo tuner?

thanks

Kurt

i would say something is defiatly jacked up with your tune or could be your tps.

i am in the middle of getting mine tuned as well. but i am not using the procharger tune. its rediciouls to leave 30-40hp on the table after spending so much money.

im going to try to get mined tuned again friday(maxed out my maf) and i will keep you posted on results.

BTW have you talked to ATI? what did they say.

I went to the Ford dealership yesterday to see what they might say and they told me the have had some problems with the 04-05 throttle bodies. So I went back to the parts to get the new throttle body and will install it later today. Does it seem like this could be causeing the problem?

Also I absolutly love the procharger, it sounds really bad *** Just wish I could find out how to solve this problem and get back on the road WOT. Hope this replacement of the throttle body solves the problem
