Hey, I have a lightly modified 2001 lightning and was looking to put on a different blower pulley soon. My question is, would it be ok to be running ~15lbs of boost with stock internals?

Also, is there any way to turn off my traction control?

I dont believe you have an electronic traction system.

You can run 15 pounds, but question is how long will it last under that [higher] boost.

 

With a very very dead on safe tune you might get away with it but for how long is the question!

15psi from an Eaton, ported Eaton, KB, Whipple etc.. it's all different. 15 psi can be done safely (depending on multiple variables). Check out the Lightning section here. There is a ton of info you'll want to look at.
