4900 is not even a deal for a group buy, you can find a whipple kit out there for that much!!

I would give about $2000 for the universal kit. Just not worth all the work. That price may be to high. You can buy your own turbo and tuning and piping for less. Then you have your own universal kit. I can make my own bracketry and such. But if I can get a complete truck specific kit for $3500.. then I am all over it. My time is worth somethig too

Unlike chris1450, my time is worth very little since this is a hobby.
So, what would the parts cost if you shopped around and got some good prices?
Even with the kit, installation, welding and fitting, etc, has to be done.

STS must take as a fool, they asked if taking my truck to Utah was an option and it being gone for 30-60 days+ and still paying them $4895.00 or having them send it to me for that price and having to email them back and forth about fitment. now i've done this before, i had Tanabe USA use my car for a month to develop 4 different exhaust and Suspension for the Mitsubishi Eclipse and received the items for free after doing so. i keep one exhaust and 1 suspension set up witch was worth $2000 dollars together, 3 other exhaust and 2 suspension to sell or keep. i had about 7k worth of stuff given to me. Now most companies who barrow a car for R&D usually give the kit out for free. i know because i live in SoCal where most companies are. I understand that my truck really isn't used fully for R&D because the kit is already pre-made. but there really isn't a discount for being a R&D car. What if the pre-made map blows my truck. thats a big risk and the mileage and a lot of factors come into play. Now from my understanding. Isn't the price he quoted the same as the group buy deal? where is my deal? im better off waiting for someone else to volunteer and know its gonna be fully taken care of. if he would have said for your time and help we will give you the kit for free or 1500. i would have said sure. im on the way out Saturday. or send it to me now, but to me this seems like you pay us to scratch are back and we will give you a hand shake kind of deal.

even my buddies at Fast Intentions said that was a horrible deal.

MasterPower T70 $600 max
Fuel pump $150 ?? maybe lower maybe more
Lightning maf $100 ??
Lightning injecters $100 ??
WasteGate $50 ?
intercooler $150 ?
dual 18" fans $150

Hot and Cold parts homemade $200-400

Tuneing at a shop sct style... $600-700

Total
2400

Give or tak 500 for used and new parts all depending on your deals you find...

and you have a turbo setup that will make sick power ...

You could build a setup cheap...
compared to what they are asking

yeah freddy doesn't want to bargain. so screw STS we'll find something else.

even the hellion 2 valve mustang systems and other 2 valve mustang sysetms would bolt onto a 4.6 2 valve truck and require very little tweaking to fit a 2 valve or even a 3 valve 5.4 truck

and I'm sute they'd be wiling to cut a deal. looks like I have a few calls to make on monday. can you guys name the places and thier phone numbers you'd like me to call about getting a group buy.

even if we just get the pieces at a good rate we can have any shop modify the boost tubes
