I have one on my 4.6 Explorer. I love it. I just got the Magnum Powers blower case and about to push it to about 20,000rpms or 13psi + or -. Should Roc.

 

So I just bought an 01 supercrew running 8lbs of boost and the intercooler pump went out so i am replacing it with the bosch pump.. I can't find anywhere a diagram or anything as to how it should be put together.. Bummer aed went out of business!! Any ideas?

 

I think the AED pump was a lightning unit. I can't imagine it has more than a couple wires and the hoses to connect.

 

talk to 01lightningsuper he has the instruction manual for the allen kit on our trucks. I actually got the bosch pump with my kit. i wonder what pump you got?

 

Or you could go the route of doing a lightning conversion? With the one im planning on doing, everything is only gonna cost me maybe $3100 before installation and im gonna be able to run 8-10# of boost

 

if you could still find one that would be cool but just think you have a 5.4L and like BJ said a lightning conversion would be the best bang for buck. there are lots of parts to upgrade to and everyone is selling there stock stuff so get it cheap on ebay or the forums. Im still crazy about my allen kit and im still running on the street tune, lol.. Maybe oneday ill check out the max performace tune but i dont want anymore tickets hahaha.

 

So I got the new pump in and it's workin great! Does anyone have a slight engine tick when the boost gets past about 4lbs in overdrive? Now my truck has 43lb injectors and headers so that may be all it is but I am curious if anyone else has the same deal.. The blower snout is solid and has no play at all... I just hate ticks! lol

 

And after readin about the spark plugs blowin out i'm freakin out....

 

Check them before they blow out. If you hear one ticking it is loose.
