Porting Magnacharger

Hi,
I was looking into getting my magnacharger ported (think its a stage IV) and rotors stripped by Stiegemeier in about two weeks or so, was just checking to see if anyone else has had it done and if you were pleased with the results, and actually how much louder the whine gets after the rotors were stripped?

Thanks

I had my Roush ported there but I didn't get the rotors stripped, I like the port job they do great work. just doing the port makes the blower louder you get them rotors stripped it will sound awsome.

Don't forget a new tune when you get it back.

Yes you will want to get it retuned. I got mine back bolted it up and has some fun on a 40* night and boom detonated(but it was also my injectors fault). Just take it easy once its ported then after its tuned then let her rip.

Thanks again guys, I do have a call into Troyer about getting the tune adjusted. I'm also having Stiegemeier go ahead and do the fuel injector service as its cheap insurance (like 85 bucks with the other work) against possible catastrophic failure due to the injectors.

Not sure about what size it would become, I will talk to them after they get the package and find out for ya, they should be calling me Wednesday or so, but per their website the blueprinting alone around 20 Hp and the porting another 10, with the option of porting and polishing the plenum and throttle body and plenum port matched a few extra horses, basic stage 4 is 395, plus 45 for rotor stripping and 65 for the throttle body and plenum work. If you google supercharging porting they should be like the first ones to pop up, and they have a price list for you to browse, the price quotes I got via email were looking like they were under the 99-04 lightning and harley list.

I believe it does increase some from what I read on the Stiegemeier site, maybe one of the guys who have had the porting done may be able to answer that.
