The 2lb lower pulley that Troyer uses in reality only raises boost by 1.5lbs giving a stock Roush a total of 9.5 lbs. The lightning upper is a 2.93" and I am not sure what the Roush is I think it is 3.15" but not sure but that is the reason for the advertised vs actual difference. Now with the port you are still getting the power of 9.5lbs but you are only showing 8lbs because boost is an actual measure of resistance/backpressure.

Now my truck has only run a best of 14.05 but my 60' time was 2.3sec and this was starting in 2nd gear. I have a really bad traction issue especially at this particulare track.

To me Whipple, Magnacharger, Roush, Saleen, centrifugel or Turbo'd it doessnt matter because we are all apart of the exclusive Forced Induction club. No hater here or mines better than yours we are all Forced Inducted

I thought troyer told me he saves some ungodly amount of weight too? Like 20-35lbs of weight on the pulleys with the 2lb upgrade?

Not quite. I weighed the +2 lb pulley and Roush pulley when I changed mine. The difference was a single digit. Can't remember what exactly it was.

I cant remember how much difference but the Roush(lightning) caged pulley is steel bulkey and heavy where as the 2lb pully from ASP is aluminum. I want to say it is at least 15lbs, so you have less rotaional mass which helps in the rev department.

Port should give more power and allow the S/C to cool down some too.

Agreed. I'm at 10 psi with the Whipple with 465 TQ on a stock bottom end. Mine is one of the higher numbers for a stock motor I've seen. To reach 500 TQ on 8 psi seems excessive.

Well, we will see what my truck does with 12lbs with this saleen blower...

Hopefully a solid 450rwhp and 500+ftlbs.
