cause when Mike Troyer recommends against it I tend to listen. I also wanted something that would be "normal" for awhile and keep me from destroying my trans. So until I get the $3500 for a new trans built by Troyer I'm going to stick with the 8.5psi. I would love to port it out and run 10/12 but I don't want to see Mike that soon after the initial install nor does my wallet, lol.

According to mike troyer my truck should have had 5 transmissions and 10 engines in it by now and only be making 400rwhp...

port it out, put 10.5 to it, and have fun.. If it blows up it's because of a bad tune on his part.

FATHERFORD, who tuned your truck? Is it the canned software that comes with the saleen charger or custom?

It's currently a mail order JDM tune that is neutered...

I'm going to take it back to HPP soon to get it re-tuned.

Just want to state that I have had over 40kmiles of 12lbs of forced induction. I am still on my stock engine, stock exhaust manifolds, stock ignition coils, stock tranny, and "stock" rear end. Just gears. The other 32k miles I had on the truck before the blower install weren't easy miles either. My truck isn't just a dyno queen either, it's my daily driver and work horse. You can tell by my beat up bed and the trailer hitch I routinely pull with.

From what I've read your truck is one of a kind. I'm the bad luck guy, I'm shocked the dang thing hasn't blown up already.

BTW I might have mentioned I was adding the fuel system developed by Troyer but when Mike got a good look at the 08 he was pleasantly surprised that my stock fuel pump was different than ones he had seen previously along with my fuel tank shape. Said the pump had a bigger flange on the bottom which allowed for more fuel. When we pulled 386rwhp and 422rwtq on the dyno I still had 10% at WOT. Now that it's more stable with 380 and 419 I have about 13% that's not being utilized at WOT. Saved me some $$$!
