remember, 05+ has two cats-not four. running no cats would be much different than cuttin the rears on older trucks. right now im running no cats and i would not recommend it. i might be wrong but the long term effects could hurt the truck. my tune is still on the way but it is very loud and makes the floor of the truck vibrate. also still waiting on the new cats. i am going with high flows and would suggest it also. tuner might fix the cel but dont recommend consistently running it.

I run no cats (that off-road mid-pipe remember) and unless Ford did some really trick work with the newer trucks they will respond the same way as long as they are tuned for it. The tune turns off the rear O2S's, and since they have nothing to do with trimming the fuel maps (that's the Primary O2S's job) there is very little that could hurt the truck (in fact there is nothing). Vibration/drone/etc. just means the rest of the exhaust system wasn't adjusted, run a muffler(s) with more interior volume.
