you can down grade to the open air element and pick up engine heat, or stick with the Roush cold air box. Roush designed the closed box for the intercooled Roush for more HP, the non intercooled Roush has an open element. I picked up about 5 RWHP on the dyno when I flip open the air box and bypassed the airfilter for a whatif scenareo. Troyer will talk you into keeping the stock Roush airbox. You could use flexable tubing and attach it to the lower part of the box to pick up the air right inder the bumper.
