his truck will be fine probably up to 20PSI if not more. Turbo is a little easier on drivetrain with the "lag" but by no means is it easy on anything.

And how much power will a 70MM let you go to? I would almost think you would want maybe an 80 something depending on what kind of boost you really want to make overall.

Talked to STS yesterday and they said that the gt70 turbo was good to about 800 crank hp. The gt60 (what I have) is good to about 600 crank hp. I think I'll be fine with the gt70. My internals are rated to about 850 hp, and I don't want to test that theory. Plus if I start getting too ridiculous, I'll have to get another fuel system, and replace my tranny, and since I'm getting out of the army in the next 4 months I wont have the cash flow to do any of that.

Oh well congrats and thanks for the country service! I think you should still shoot for atleast 1200 crank HP, no point in only making 800

Borgwarner S475

$500 turbo that will rock your socks off. Might spool a "little" slow on a 5.4, but it will still be very fun.

So my truck is a BEAST. I love it. Drove home today from Warner Robbins GA to Columbus and had a blast! One issue though. The truck throws a code whenever I'm just putting around and then go to about 2/3 throttle. P061 is what my Xcal 3 says it is. The Truck goes into limp mode, I pull over, turn off the engine, turn it back on and its good. It only did it once when I was trying to get it to do it. My tuner noticed it today when he did a test drive and told me about it. Hes looking into it. He was datalogging when it happened to him, and nothing crazy happened on Live Wire. Anyone ever heard of this? I tried to google the code, and just got a bunch of BS with people having the same issue and other people telling then that isn't a real code and they read it wrong. I'm not retarded and I'm fairly competent with the English alphabet and reading numbers, so I know that is the right code, I wrote it down immediately. Any clues? I changed out the air filter when I got home (It was kinda dirty) but I'm lost in the sauce guys.

HAHA oh yeah, my low oil pressure buzzer is still set for 7 pounds of boost, so when ever I go over 10#'s it goes off. Scared the crap outa me. Now its just irritating. I'm going to fix it tomorrow when there is some sunshine.

It's in the tune...

Mine did that with the vortech part throttle tune. It would see boost and go into limp mode.

What did they have to change in the tune to avoid it? Is it because the PCM sees to much torque or something?
