went to the Track, 8th Mile.

So i went to my local track, which is a 8th mile strip only.

Time slip reads:
R/T------------ 1.214
60'------------- 2.123
330------------ 6.00
1/8------------ 9.2
MPH----------- 74.69

Now just to inform every one, this is not on that tune that i had posted.. i no longer use that as my truck was actually slower with it..

Mods in this run are:
Magnacharger @7 psi, Magnacharger tune, Stock manifolds (the long tubes also made me slower), single 3" with hi flow cats.

Also my truck is on 35's with 20's..

I know my reaction time is bad, but i have to roll into the throttle, i spin with these tires..

Are you kidding those long tubes didnt do jack for me expect made me lose 20/hp and 20/tq, and a weaker curve..

ill just add the 2lbs to it how it is and retune...

FYI, long tubes, shorties, and stock manifolds i see 7psi no matter what...

weird!!!

that's cause the long tubes scavange better even on a stock lighting pullied for 8# they cost a little bit but once you correct the air coming in (usually a 2# pulley) it's a broader torque curve (extended out further in the RPM range)

what kind of inlet are you using?? power adders react better to inlet mods than outlet mods I'd be looking for the biggest TB I could find and fabbing a low restriction inlet tube

I was tuned for the long tubes, it just wasn't liking the long tubes, the Throttle body is the stock 75mm, they sell a 80mm i can pick.. but i am not sure if it would be worth it. when you say inlet tube you referring to the mouth of the supercharger?

this is the intake setup it is running:

the whole thing is a restriction....

look what JDM did with the Saleen truck, the less restricting inlet helped out a bunch more than the exhaust mods
