having a standard will help with the lag and if you have gears. will it be a built bottom end? and are you talking at the wheels power or flywheel?

check out this site. it will help with turbo selection and size to go with. i would suggest a 65 mm turbo (turbonetics 60-1) which will give you the power your looking for and be efficient enough to be driven to the track, spank some mustangs and drive home without too much lag. although it wont give you that 600 whp. just play around with the charts.

5 speed and 4.10 are good. a 70 mm turbo will give you a min of 550 and max of 900. be aware of lag on these. you might not hit boost till 3000 or 3500. cams might help move the power band up in the rpm range. your talking about a race truck with that size turbo. dude once you get off the line your going to be smoking! 10 seconds down the 1/4.

the 50 shot will be fine for the track but the street will suffer. whatever tranny you get will need to be biult and stout. do you have the regular cab already?
