when I took care of my holes it was noticeably louder, like when I added the smaller pulley, and then with my open air element it bumped the loudness up a bit more. You didn't notice any increase in whine in the cab?

In the cab I think its a little louder butI dont think it was worth the time. I have the I/c kit so the filter is closed that keeps it quite too

Yeah, I wasn't going to do mine either, but I just got the magnacharger back from Stiege, and thought well since its already out, might as well do it. In my case it was very noticeable, kids and wife even noticed and they could care less about what I do with the truck.

I am magnacharged so I don't know the difference between the roush ic and non/ic setups, are the non/ic'd opened up compared to ic'd setups?

This is what I have the I/C kit[IMG][/IMG]

The Non I/C kit has a AF1 or K&N style intake

is that a fat four inch pipe from throttle body to filter? My intake that came with the magnacharger has a range of like 3 or 3-1/2 inch at the TB to just maybe over four at the filter. I did not like how it looked so I made my own, but with the roush setup I could see keeping it, heck it looks like I could modify that a bit to fit the magnacharger. hmm.

I have the same roush set up FX4 Matt and the shop I got my tune done from said they could adapt a steeda intake more than likely for the same price as buying one on-line. I posted a thread in here not too long ago about intake options and most of the guys said performance wise to stick with the set up we have already...my shop said other wise. good luck with it.

Does my roush non I/C kit have these holes?

Mine is already extremely loud, but I don't remember seeing them, but then again, I wasn't really paying attention.
