Roush?

Hey I was wondering if I needed to beef up my axels and tranny if I
m going to install a Roush Supercharger with a Intercooler. Im a high school kid and have been saving for some time now to cherry out my truck. I'm currently ordering a 22 inch pair of KMC rims. I'm going to install a 2 inch leveling kit. Im also going to add The Banks Monster Split Dual Exhaust and I was contimplating adding the engine manifolds. Last but not least I have purchased a Superchip Tuner already. Once I get it all together here it should sing, I was just wondering if I needed to modify my tranny or axels to help support the massive amount of horsepower and torque that will be added. Thanks for your input.

Ben

If you add the Roush kit to your truck you will not have to beef up anything, But you will have to sell that superchips tuner it wont do any good with the Roush tune you would need a Xcal2 or 3 with custom tunes

yea you should be ok matt only broke a drive shaft no seriouly i have the roush kit it awesome but you will want custom tunes, if you change your manifold you will want long tube headers, im warning you im 20 years old bought my truck the day i turned 18, after you start with the blower you will always want more!:o

+2 its addicting !!!!!! and go with longtubes + custom tunes....if you do go with shorty headers then i recomend the JBA ceramic coated, i had them on another car and they put up the same numbers as my buddies ride did with long tubes.

i believe it's said that short tubes do nothing for our trucks.

look into pacesetter or dynatech long tubes. and that superchip will do nothing for you with that setup.

Yeah, def. go with long tubes. Shorts do nothing. Get an XCAL with a dyno tune and it will make a big differance.

well just got my truck back last night now i wanted to do a x pipe then a maggy on each pipe but the cranky old dude that did it wouldnt move my one cat or it would be too close to drive shaft, tranny, and gas tank so i ended up getting a dual in dual out muffler with the x pipe, i have absolutely no drone now what so ever, its very queit, i never used my banks muffler i always had stright pipe, then went with long tubes with hiflow cats into a y pipe and tied it into the banks tail pipe. now that i can actually have a conversation in my truck going down the road, the noise the supercharger is pretty loud
