Supercharge a Lifted FX4

So i found a good deal on a used supercharger. I dont know to much about them but it is a used manacharger. I have a 07 FX4 with 35" tires and is lifted or is getting lifted 7.5 inches with 3.73 gears. Is it a waste of money for me to supercharge my truck or is it worth it. Also will it affect my 4x4 if it boost while it is engaged. Like i said im new to the whole supercharger thing but have been reading these forums about it for about 2 days straight. I am kinda on a wall and dont know which way to go. Im not looking for a race car but the extra power will be nice, i read alot of yall guys threads and seems to be some experience people up here. Plz give my your opinions. Do you have any link to any videos/pics of this done

Here is the manacharger:

its more power, it will be kinda hard on the drivetrian but i race mine in four wheel drive on the dirt, it wont be fast, if you re geared to like a 456 gears with 35's i know a fella that had em and it only raised the rpm 200. that will make a big diff on getting that pig off the line

You need to re-gear to 4.56 with the 35s before you supercharge it or your tranny will be toast in a hurry!

Ruff estimate,,somewhere around 1500.
Gears are expensive ( I'm shopping for new ones now) and you have to do both front and back. Plus install kits. Then ya need to pay someone to put them in.

Yeah that is what i was thinking about not bad price on supercharger, but the other things will start to add up, gears, exhaust, etc, etc.

if your wanting performance, go w/ 4.88's wont change your rpms to much from 4.56 and will give you more pick up, and allow you to bump to 37's if you ever wanted to.

when ever i start modding my truck again (if i do) ill do 4.88's. but hopefully get a diesal before that happens.
