Lookin for a supercharger!

Hey guys whats up? I am looking for a supercharger for my 09 4.6 2v. I have looked around a little bit, no luck. Anyone know where I could find a kit? Will a mustang supercharger work on it? ANyways guys sorry for the dumb question, but I want some real power out of my f-150. The stock hp just isnt doin it for me. I'd rather spend money on something like a supercharger with real results than just a few mods. Thanks for any comments!

Guess you should have got the 5.4 in your truck, all that you could do is a custom turbo that could cost big $$$$

pretty expensive you wouldnt want to swap motors just to supercharge it and if you were to do that build a motor so you can put some power to it but the amount of money you would spend is not feasable

yea i know what your sayin..... how much would be a good estimate for a custom supercharger? I'm wantin about 300-320 to the wheels, dont want to use nitrous. I dont think I can get that out of a 248 hp motor... knowin that all 248 isnt to the wheels either. ANy ideas.... Thanks for all the posts so far!

I think your truck makes about 175 or so at the wheels if your 4x4, there is a bunch of mods, tunes, cia, cat back, pulleys, e-fans, TB spacer, headers, gears, that should get you a bunch more power.

here is a 5.4 on ebay 09_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhas hZitem588224c2daQQitemZ380140569306QQptZMotorsQ5fC arQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Don't know much about turbos but you should be able to get a custom turbo for somewhere around 5K.

I would think that the Mustang and the F150 4.6 would be roughly the same. Probably different heads (cams and porting maybe?) and intake is probably different, but I would wonder if a Mustang intake would fit on your heads to allow a S/C?

Ummmm...no. CAI and Gryphon won't make up for displacement, an extra V and what's that thing called again? Oh yeah hp and tq!

The 05+ Mustang GT might work but a Cobra 99 or 2001 won't.
