Troyer told me on a accurate barometric gauge the whipple makes 6psi stock and 8psi on the "10" psi kit. Now my gauge hooked into the port that whipple provided (which is a major pain in the *** if you dont do it at time of install) says 8PSI now on stock. So I dunno?

I think 10PSI kit on a whipple is more like 420-430RWHP.

I think people need to quit hanging from a certain tuner's ******* and look at the mustang/lightning world. What troyer does is nothing special..

Well Ive seen a few really really good tuners from the Lightning world, but the Lightning and 3v motors are quite a bit different from a tuning perspective.

I dont know if I like JDMs 10* timing at 12PSI that your set up runs Fatherford. However, I havent seen the tune and you know far more about then I do, but I wouldnt think 10* timing is a good way to cut power.

i would love take my roush to 10lbs but this fuel issue has me a bit nervous, im about hour and half away from jdm, and seven from troyer. but i do feel mike knows every aspect of these trucks, jdm looks good but i figured if i go ahead and do a dyno tune i might as well do the full step and go to troyers.

Thanks everyone. I think im going to buy the whipple supercharger and get a 10 psi pulley with 39lbs injectors and have it tuned by troyer when I get up some more money.

What do you think it will run in a 1/4 mile with that done and straight piped cat back with electric fans?

What else do people recommend doing to these trucks that will help it out that doesnt cost too much money?

Everyone is so helpful on f150online!

10psi kit probably mid 13.5-13.8 until you get traction then 13.3-13.5... Ill let you know when I get mine goin and I've made a few passes this winter.

with the 8 PSI kit I had zero traction at launch but with a 2.3 60' I got a 14.5. With traction thats probably a 13.9-14.0 or so.

You can order a Dub pulley system of Ebay. I have been running there pulleys since I got the kit. Good produce, great price, and good customer service. I just recieved my 2.8" pulley for my Roush IC kit. I am waiting on my Troyer tune to run. Fuel isn't an issue at this point from what Troyer told me. I have the 3.1, 2.93, and 2.8 pulley with the quick change hub. The only thing I would like different is a custom wrench so I can take the belt on and off easily. With the stock fan still on it is a bear to get a 1/2" ratchet in and out.

I am kicking around the idea of Long tube headers. That or going to try my hand at porting some stock manifolds.

The 2.8" pulley with the exhaust I have now should net me a little over 10psi, and of course, with the long tubes, a bit less.....but the doesn't mean you lose power, you are still moving the same (if not more) air.

yea i have the longtubes and i cant really say i seen a lost in boost maybe 1/2lb, but i have just about everything now but more boost i do have a ported blower and long tubes so it may help being a little safer.
