Turbo OR Super?

Saying you had an unlimited budget and a 2008 5.4 XLT and you wanted to jack up the HP and Torque would you rather have a turbocharger or a supercharger?

turbos make more power...

day to day ied still turbo..

i think people rag on turbos because of lag but turbos are so much better now and as long as its built right it will be better all around then compared to a supercharger...

thats my 2cents

X2

For a truck I would want the positive displacement supercharger.
For a car or maybe a very light single cab truck a turbo.

ok what if the hose on my procharger got disconnected on the exiting side so the motor is sucking air thru the innercooler and theres no boost from the charger but the charger is still blowing air everywhere...i guess that would be since its more draining on the engine than it is helping.

any of yall heard about PSE's lightning thats twin supercharged?

Unlimited budget? Turbo. If the setup is that serious then there wouldn't be anything a blower could do better other than burn up belts. Be able to buy a serious turbo with custom hotside/coldside covers, AMS1000 boost controller, custom plumbing....you name it. There are a lot of goodies that would make even a serious turbo setup more than docile for DD duty and an absolute blast at the track.
