oh ok i see how this works it really does help, well my truck is done with the build, got the motor part all done and fuel pump is in, got it running for the first time, its missing a bit probably due to the new 90maf and the difference in the injectors and fuel psi running in the motor, it should be getting tuned 2morrow oh and one question what type of oil does the SC run??? id it regular gear oil?

yes sir we cranked it up to see what it was gonna do, it actually idles pretty good without a tune lol, its running fine now the guy tuning it regulated fuel pressures, got it reading the 90maf we havent finished tuning it gonna swap the plugs for some TR6s or TR7s and he was gonna get his wideband and then go a full tune

For oil go to GM dealer and ask for GM supercharger oil. Usually the cheapest.

Never done on truck, but plug on front covef. Siphon oil out and then fill till oil reaches plug. Rear bearings are greased and only way to do is take a part.

well the truck feels sick man it just pulls hard, ive had lightnings and harleys before but they dont feel like this, maybe its the difference in compressions from a lightning motor to a regular 5.4?? i havent done a dyno pass the truck was tuned in the street with the sniper tuning software

The higher compression will give you about a 25 to 30hp advantage over the Lightning.

yeah a friend of mine had mentioned the same thing about the compressions, since its out ive put about 500 miles on it, when i got back my cousin wanted to race me in his lightning as for mods he has a 2.8up pulley, e fans, no cats with a flow, k&n and was dyno tuned in houston, my mods are 4lb lower, tune, homemade air intake, and a borla running stock 331 gears on 22 inch wheels!! raced him twice of 20 rolls he spun one and i pulled 2 trucks on him, second he hocked but took off on the second honk but still managed a full truck length and pulling before we let off

I seriously doubt you have 3.31
Stock should be 3.55 in that truck.

With 22" wheels I would put 4.10s in it.
That's what I run and love it.
