i ran across a chance to get supercharger setup off a gt500,, everything but the intake manifold,,,,,just wondering would it be hard to get the setup to work on my truck 08 5.4.... gt500 is an 07.... Thanks for your Help

 

No I dont believe it would. The best thing it would work with if anything would be the ROUSH intake as its the same as the Lightning (IIRC) however I believe the blower bolts up completely different. I wouldnt buy it.

get a kit designed for your 3 valve I'm guessing you saw a supercharger case for sale and you have no idea that's there's a lot more to it than that

plus I'm tired of answering post on this topic, the constant repost thanks to "what I saw on ebay and I can get it cheap and then I'll spend 5-6 times the price of a kit designed for my 3 valve just to get it to work then you mean I'll have to run premium fuel?? what's the point of a tune In have a (insert craptacular canned tuner name here) but I do have a throttle body spacer and I want to keep it for the power it makes, no, I have 35 (or larger) inch tires on 3.55 gears, no I don't want to upgrade my transmission I only want more power" the nerve of people cracks me up

well its a DD but i use it for work also... the problem is i do put some miles on it ....08 and one year old to date and the clock is reading 40000 miles.....i asked on gt500 charger because i would be able to get it for under 500 bucks....and 5000 miles on it ..my buddie converted his gt500 to a super snake , so the parts are all left over....brembo brakes front ,stock rears, rocker panels, and so on

I have GT500 and a couple other mustangs. I might be interested in the parts. PM me if wants someone to buy them.

I would like try my hand a porting a GT500 supercharger. If successful I can do it on the other one and sell it. If I fail, I just lose out on the used supercharger.
