Good afternoon guys.

I have an 08 limited awd and I am looking to put the roush sc on it from an 06 that I purchased and ya led the engine etc just for the kit.

i have started the process, how ever i noticed that on the lower plenum is the bypass control solenoid, and vacuum lines. The 06 donor harness has a plug for the solenoid, however my 08 does not.
should i/ do I need to swap the donor harness into the truck? Or is there ways around this?

its been a long time since i worked on this project, and i finally got a wild hair and want to get it going. Im at a stand still with lower plenum because of this issue. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I also realized that the 08 fan hub is larger than the fan hub spacer I have off the 06, is there an option available for the larger hub? Or should I swap hubs on the water pump?

I was able to locate the installation manual which told me everything except the fan hub.

 

So this is the current situation. The engine in the 08 has low compression, the cylinders are scored pretty decent, so I have ordered a set of sealed power hyper eutectic pistons and ring set .020 over bore. I need to order the h beam rods, the heads have been rebuilt and had bearings installed in the cam tunnels, new cams, new lifters, etc. 3 angle valve job. And decked back true. I have all new bearings for the bottom end and arp main studs, rod bolts, and cross bolts.
also waiting are head studs.

I will probably gasket match the intake and the heads. Is there anything I’m forgetting ?
